At last, Aspen leaves for her new "job"
Aspen has come such a long way since August 2007. She is healthy and happy and we are so
thrilled about this adoption. Not only is it our 100th adoption since we opened in 2000, but this had
to be the most heartwarming adoption we've ever done. Aspen could have easily died during her
pregnancy or giving birth but God had other plans....we just didn't know what. We were not going to
let this girl slip through the cracks and thanks to several rescues who helped transport her to us,
Aspen is now a gorgeous girl who now has a very special role to play in Dakota's life as a
service/companion dog. She'll never have any more puppies (and neither will her puppies. They
were all spay/neutered before leaving us) and she will enjoy life as a loved house dog who will get to
go lots of places. Where Dakota goes - Aspen goes. The family emailed us that Aspen is exactly
the dog they wanted and that she is a fast learner and wants to please. They promise to send
pictures and updates and maybe visit once in awhile. We'd like that very much.................
