Ceasar

Ceasar is a gorgeous 6 year old male who is neutered and up to date on
shots. Ceasar needs a malamute experienced home as he tries to take on an
alpha position. Ceasar has a wonderful temperament and loves people but is
very nervous around young children so a new home will need to be either
adults only or older teenagers and adults. He does know basic obedience
commands and walks well on a leash (as long as there are no squirrels!) and
he loves to go for rides. His previous adoptive owner would take him out
jogging several times a week which helped Ceasar get back down to a
healthier weight. Ceasar is fine with dog savvy cats so with proper
introductions he will do just fine with feline family members. His unusual
markings are what is known as a "splash" coat and he tends to draw lots of
ohhhhs and ahhhhs from people who see him. He loves to play and be silly
and acts like an overgrown puppy.

Ceasar needs someone who is willing to take the time to crate train him and
teach him that humans rule (with positive reinforcement) and not Ceasar. He
tends to mark in the house when no one is around. The key is to make sure
he doesn't have the opportunity to be alone. This is where a crate needs to
come in. He can never be left unsupervised in the home. If the owner leaves
the room, Ceasar goes in a crate even if it's only for 30 seconds. It will
probably take some time to make Ceasar understand he is not going to be the
