Cement pour...1st round
Cement..round 2...
We have finally gotten to the stage of seeing the interior work starting to take place. Since there is so much floor
to have poured and finished, we decided to have the side with the kennel runs poured first since that was going to
require a 1% grade for drainage. The 1st slab is 10' 4" feet wide and 60' long which worked out to 8.29 yards of
cement. We'd like to thank the driver we had, for taking the time to help us get the cement leveled and moved
around and for working on a Saturday for us!
Carol had to do some last minute clean-up for the
trenches. We will be having block walls put in so the
foundation has to be a little thicker for support.
Good thing Carol is the daughter of a
bricklayer and knows how to use cement
tools!
John setting in the drain covers
These tubes will slide out and then the drain covers
can be set into the cement.
