Wanita

Wanita is a very sweet 7 year old female who is part of a group of dogs that became known
as the MI9. Their owner found himself out of his house and the dogs had to leave the
property very quickly (January 2007). Rescues in Michigan, Illinois and Alaska pulled
together and managed to pull off something short of a miracle. Golden Years was able to
take the momma dog Meekers along with her daughters (and full littermates) Fedella and
Wanita. Wanita got her mom's build and she is blessed with mom's temperament. These
dogs went through quite an upheaval in their lives but once they settled in their sweetness
just came right out.

Wanita is spayed, current on shots and has been microchipped and is ready to go to a new
forever home. All of the MI9 were outdoor dogs but housetraining shouldn't take too long
since she is used to doing her business outside. She's very good in the house and doesn't
try to steal trash. Wanita is a pretty active girl compared to her sisters. She cannot be
around cats and very small children make her nervous. Introduced properly to kids older than
7 or 8 she probably would enjoy having playtime with them. She does get aggressive with
other dogs so she'll need to be an "only" dog. Is Wanita the girl for you?
