Zeus

Zeus is a 10 year old male that found himself picked up by animal control one too many times.
He likes to wander off and explore and his previous owner didn't keep him on a tie-out or in a
fenced yard. He was released to us in January 2006 by Kent Co Animal Control.

Zeus has now been with us over 2 years now and we sure would like to see him spend his Golden
Years in his own forever home where he can enjoy extra attention. He's come a long way since he
first arrived and is much more polite and fun to be with. He's a very tall boy who needs to watch
his weight to keep the strain on his hips to a minimum as he does have mild hip dysplasia. Other
than that he's in great health and current on all vaccinations. His been with us long enough that he
can go to a 3 year schedule for the DHLLP vaccinations.

He is not good with cats and due to his size he should not go to a home with small children
unless they are used to being around big dogs. He will need a refresher in housetraining 101 as
he has been an outside dog since coming to us. Zeus has a high pitch "speaking voice" and he
does tend to clap his teeth together when "talking". To someone not familiar with Malamutes this
may sound bad.

Zeus should go to an experienced Malamute home who will not allow him to be the leader of the
pack. He does well with us because he knows we won't let him get away with much.
